Play of the Day

So this play of the day definitely was rough. I had a few choices to decide from but ultimately I’ve decided to settle on the second biggest game of the week, Wisconsin @ Michigan being #1 of course, Louisville at Clemson. This game features two high powered offenses led by two prolific quarterbacks. Lamar Jackson can do things with his legs that we haven’t seen since Denard Robinson. I think the verdict is still out on his arm. Yeah he threw for over 4oo yards twice this year but in both those games he had just over a 50% completion percentage. That may be just pulling at straws when somebody throws for over 400 yards, but when you look at the fact that he only threw for 216 in that punishment Louisville put on FSU, it is a cause for discussion. On the other side is Deshaun Watson. He hasn’t been as overly impressive as Jackson, but we know Watson’s body of work. He’s played in the big games, and this year he’s already beat Auburn and led Clemson to their first win at Georgia Tech since 2003. I think this game really relies on the defenses. Which by the line currently at 68 I don’t think Vegas has much faith in these teams playing defense. The over could be a wonderful bet, but instead I’m going to take the chance on Clemson’s D being able to put up a better fight then Florida State, since they have more tape on Lamar Jackson and take Clemson +1

For those that just want the play:
Clemson +1 over Louisville
