Last week I gave you a few players that you should either panic or don’t panic over when considering their fantasy value for the rest of the season. I told you not to panic over AP, and well now you don’t have to decide whether to panic or not because it has already been decided for you. We did tell you to panic and give up on Sammy Watkins, and again he failed to deliver.
Allen Robinson – WR – Jacksonville Jaguars – 9rec 126yds 0tds (20 targets) – It’s starting to get a little worrisome that Robinson still hasn’t recorded his first TD. I know it’s still early in the season, but the expectations were high for Robinson. He and Bortles just cannot get on the same page. The bright spot, though, is that he is still getting a good amount of targets.
Don’t Panic Yet
T.Y. Hilton – WR – Indianapolis Colts – 10rec 120yds 0tds (23 Targets) – We run into the same situation here. I don’t know what is going on in Indianapolis but they look like a shadow of their former selves. Hilton and Luck need to get in sync in order to save this season, but I’m not sure they can. At least Luck is trying, though.
Start gauging interest
T. J. Yeldon – RB – Jacksonville Jaguars – 28car 67yds 2.4ypc 1td – Staying in the AFC South we head back to Jacksonville and that disappointment. A lot of fantasy owners questioned the Jaguars signing of Chris Ivory. T. J. Yeldon was already there and primed to have a break out year. Well Yeldon has done nothing so far to solidify the starting role. Once Chris Ivory comes back his touches will decline, and if he doesn’t hit a home run he won’t be scoring many, if any, touchdowns
Run away fast as you can
Jameis Winston – QB – Tampa Bay Buccaneers- 59.5%comp 524yds 262ypg 5td 5ints 72.7rating – Call it what you want, but Jameis looked awful against the Cardinals. He looked years away, if ever, from leading a team to a playoff victory. Yet, his first game he looked masterful. If he lays another egg against the Rams you might want to start abandoning the pirate ship.
Russell Wilson – QB – Seattle Seahawks – 62.8%comp 512yds 256ypg 1td 1int 80.7rating – Another QB who is really struggling. Wilson’s put up pedestrian numbers against his first two opponents this year, one that Jimmy Garoppolo absolutely picked apart in just a half. His O-Line is awful and he lost his favorite target during last weeks game, but he’ll be ready to go against the 49ers. As much as I hate to say it, the 49ers at home could be a bounce back game for Wilson. But lets not get ahead of ourselves.
